Suhbah means “companionship”, “fellowship” and “mentorship”. It comes from the same root letters as the word “Sahaabah” – the companions of Prophet Muhammad (S). At Suhbah Institute, our mission is to accompany and inspire individuals along their journey of growth by providing quality, nurturing and easily accessible Islamic learning that is applicable to our ever changing lives and circumstances – whether that be in our relationships with others, with ourselves, or with our Lord.


Is a branch dedicated to healthy marriages and families. Suhbah MARRAIGE PREP offers a certified Islamic Pre-Marital Training curriculum and Marital Enrichment courses in Houston, TX to train couples with the skills and education to have a healthy, strong, sustainable marriage. Suhbah also offers Matrimonial events to help those seeking find a suitable match.


Is a branch dedicated to offering classes and halaqas locally (livestreamed online through Facebook) about various needed topics. REFLECT Quran Contemplation Circles, The Empowered Muslim Woman, Muslim Sex Education, Memoirs of the Prophet, and Islamic Medical Fiqh are just some of the classes we offer in collaboration with experts in their frields, for free, around Houston, TX that allows like-minded individuals to find fellowship through gathering and learning. Is a branch dedicated to serious learners who want to go beyond the halaqa class setting and become immersed in traditional Islamic knowledge with the help and mentorship of their instructors. SUHBAH’s 6 month Arabic program and BOOST Leadership Program aims to cultivate a nurturing environment for students to learn the deen part time. SUHBAH Seminary is a forthcoming endeavor under this branch.


Is an 11-month part time and concurrent 5-month full time Adult learning program in Houston, TX that aims to inspire growth and learning to nurture well-rounded Muslims, grounded in foundational Islamic knowledge, aware of the ever changing dynamics of our modern world, who can serve and teach in their local communities in the position of instructors, halaqa leaders, youth group leaders, community activists, mentors, and/or part-time Imams.
